Since 2006, John has served Furman alumni, parents, and friends of the university as they seek to accomplish their philanthropic goals. "My greatest sense of professional achievement comes when alumni entrust their stories with me and then create plans to impact the stories of Furman students that they don't yet know."
John's prior work includes non-profit experience at United Way of Greenville County, business experience in logistics, and brief military experience as an officer in the U.S. Army.

Elizabeth Mobley joined the planned giving team in July 2018 after eight years with the Paladin Club, Furman's athletics fundraising office. Elizabeth is passionate about Furman and the impact our university makes in the lives of all who are part of it. "To me, Furman feels like home. I love sharing that connection with our donors and learning why Furman is so special to each of them. It all comes full circle for me when a donor's personal experience with Furman pairs with their philanthropy to create a lasting legacy to benefit Furman students for generations to come."
